Women With Cancer Connecting

On behalf of the Women With Cancer Connecting, we were so honoured to be able to help the Volunteer Cancer Drivers Society by raising funds through hosting the Vancouver Groove Orchestra’s Big Band Christmas concert in December.

It was so good to see how the offering portion of the evening, as well as funds donated online, have provided approximately 240 trips for cancer patients to and from treatment. I was was so taken aback when I read that in 2019 your volunteer drivers logged more than 20,000 patient trips! That’s amazing and I’m sure a huge help to these individuals.

We are so happy to be able to provide Volunteer Cancer Drivers Society and Sources, Women’s Place with cheques in the amount of $2,995.50 which represents our profit after expenses from ticket sales. We are thankful that we can have a small part in allowing you to bless others through these funds.
